Hi, I’m Hannah. Just an outdoorsy lady in her late twenties trying to figure stuff out. I love to hike, bike and starting to run again.
It’s the Yorkshire life for me
I moved to a small corner of North Yorkshire back in 2017 and haven’t looked back. Nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, this is an outdoor lover’s dream. When not exploring my ‘new’ home, you can find me on my allotment, with a good book or doing up my home. The adventure goes on…
We don’t have to go far for a little wilderness…
Of course, the Lake District is a stone’s throw away and summer sees us heading off for a wild camp or two or a mountain walk. 2020 will bring new adventures to the fore as a new four-wheeled-long-enough-to-sleep-in joins the family.
I love to write…
For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to encourage more people into the outdoors. Growing up near the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, I knew so few people who wanted to venture outside with me. Starting out writing for Trail magazine made me realise how much I loved describing my experiences outdoors through writing and telling the tales of what I’d been through while out there exposed to the elements and epic views. The Trail team were the best and I have very fond memories of my time with them. They helped expand my experience in the outdoors and kindle my love of writing.
Video and photography, too
I love content creation and am working toward my videos more. Check out the videos here for what I’ve done so far. Have something in mind that you’d like to see? Let me know on email@example.com
I love testing out kit but am moving towards more ethically produced gear
Having started my outdoor career on Trail, Trail Running and Country Walking magazines writing reviews for the women’s gear on Trail and editing the Trail Running Gear section, I’ve come across a huge array of kit and it got me hooked. I strongly believe having the right kit for the job can make all the difference when heading into the outdoors. Want to chat about a gear test? Get in touch!
